All-Inclusive Resorts with Amazing Oceanfront Rooms
High-rise resorts tend to have some of the best views! You can wake up to breathtaking sunrises, watch serene sunsets, and enjoy the calming sight of the ocean right from your window or balcony. It’s so peaceful at night, too.
Secrets the Vine, Oceanfront Room
I stayed at Secrets the Vine in Cancun in 2023, and it’s still one of my favorites. They have gorgeous views from almost every room, but the best is the oceanfront. It directly faces the ocean from 20+ floors. You can also get breathtaking views from the Preferred Club pool.

JOIA Paraiso (formerly Iberostar Grand Paraiso)
I had the pleasure of staying at Joia Paraiso in September 2024. It was one of the nicest views, with a ground-floor walkout onto the beach. This room is called the OceanFront Butler Suite Beach Access.
I loved the shade in the afternoon, making it the perfect spot to unwind. I could sit on the patio and read a book, or take a nap while staying close to the ocean and listening to the waves.

Live Aqua Cancun, Suite with Oceanfront view
Live Aqua Cancun is one of my favorite all-around resorts. The food and service are great. You can get a room with a great view in almost all their rooms (except the garden view). In 2024, we opted for one of the suites. We were on the 5th floor, and the views were stunning!
This is the view from our room.
At night, it’s dark and you can hear the waves and see the stars, but not much else. It’s a calm like no other.
I have two reviews of Live Aqua Cancun because both stays were a little different. The review for Live Aqua Cancun in a suite is from 2024.
Valentin Imperial Maya, Emerald Oceanfront Room
Last but not least, Valentin Imperial Maya. Truly one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. This Emerald Ocean Front Suite is located on the ground floor for a walkout experience or 2nd floor for a more sweeping view of the ocean. If you are on the ground, you walk out on sand right to the ocean.
Valentin is an all-around great resort, with lots of restaurants, bars, and entertainment. It’s adults only and is great for a mix of ages. This is a popular resort for parents traveling with their adult children.

Haven Riviera Cancun
Haven is one I’d like to go back to! We had a swim-out oceanfront room, and there aren’t too many of those room types. It was amazing!
Haven sits in an area that tends to get more seaweed, but you can still get in the ocean. You just have to get past that entry! Even if you don’t get in, it’s still a great view from your swim-out room!
