Time for an update at How My World Travels!
It’s been a while, but 2025 has been good so far. We went to the Dominican in April, Ally graduated in May and I celebrate 30 years as a travel agent this month!
I’m trying several new things this year – I launched a travel newsletter. You can opt in here if you’d like.
I have several hotel reviews up on the blog as well as general travel advice.
Celebrating 30 Years as a Travel Agent!
It’s hard to believe that June 2025 will mark 30 years for me as a travel agent. It started out as a summer job, and I never looked back. There’s so much about my job that I love, but my clients are really my favorite part. I like interacting with you all, and so many have become friends. We’ve watched each other’s kids grow up on social media. We’ve celebrated weddings, anniversaries, and big birthdays!

On a Personal Note
Our daughter graduated with her master’s degree in national security. We are so very proud of her! Excited to see what is next for her!
If you are ever in Nacogdoches, TX check out the Fredonia Hotel. It’s so cute and has a fun bar, it’s also about 2 blocks from Fredonia Brewery.
