Best Cancun All-Inclusive Resorts: Review from a Travel Agent
This is my list of top Cancun resorts. These resorts are all in Cancun, not North or South. The white sand beaches are long and great for walking. There’s usually very little seaweed and beautiful shades of blue.

If you want nightlife or just a nice dinner out, Cancun is a great spot. One of our favorites is Harry’s Steakhouse. They take reservations which is a plus! There’s also plenty of shopping and movie theaters if it’s a rainy day.
Some of these resorts I’ve already stayed at and some are on my bucket list!
Secrets Mirabel Cancun
There’s a new Secrets that just opened in Cancun. It was the old Now Cancun property and they fully renovated it and added a new Preferred Club tower. Secrets is adults only.

I’m booked to stay here in May and I can’t wait! The hotel has a pool and restaurant for preferred club guests. The rooftop has the Sky Bar as well. You also get concierge service and the lounge for check-in and check-out.

Live Aqua Cancun
If you’ve been here a while you know Live Aqua Cancun is one of my favorites. I’ve written several reviews, including one just on the food there. Live Aqua Cancun is adults only, but their chain has some family friendly options. Check out the Fiesta Americana brand.

You can find all my Live Aqua Cancun reviews linked here, here and here.
Secrets the Vine Cancun
This is another favorite in Cancun and clients love it too! We stayed here in 2023 and I’m ready to go back. My favorite resorts are also adult only. We don’t have little kids anymore so this is something that I prioritize when we go on vacation. Dreams Resorts are family friendly, they are also Hyatt Inclusive brand hotels.

The views from the rooftop Preferred Club pool are the best!

Hyatt Zilara Cancun
Also newly renovated, adult only property, this used to be the Royal Cancun. It was closed for most of 2025 for a full renovation. This is one of the very few hotels in Cancun that offer a swim out room. This resort is high on my bucket list! Hyatt

Hotel Mousai
I would describe this hotel as chic and swanky, it has its own vibe. It’s adults only, but connected to Garza Blanca which is family friendly.

Guests at Mousai have access to Garza Blanca and Villa del Palmar. This one is also high on my list to try!
