2023 was a year for records! I’m proud of how I grew professionally and personally. I set goals at the end of 2022 and worked hard to meet them!
There are a few things I’m most excited about. I rebranded and renamed the blog and started a Facebook group just for travel. I started the blog “How My World Runs” in 2012 when I started running. I loved blogging, I just wasn’t very good at it back then. I think I’ve improved! I started adding in a few travel posts in 2018 or so and then stopped running. There’s an injury that just won’t let me run anymore. I decided this year to rename and rebrand the blog into something more travel-oriented, thus “How My World Travels” was born. I added an Instagram account as well and changed the name of the Facebook page to match.
Then in October, I took a course on utilizing Facebook groups for travel, to keep in touch with clients and potential clients. It’s a great creative outlet for me as well and I love the interaction. You can request to join here.
I took quite a few continuing education classes on hotels, destinations, business-related classes, and how to automate some of my daily tasks to make interactions with clients smoother. In 2024, when you make a booking you will get electronic forms to sign for credit card charges and insurance.
Of course, I saw quite a few hotels this year and wrote a lot of travel-related, educational blog posts. Here are a few.
