Did you think I disappeared? I realized it’s been 9 days since I wrote a post. That’s unusual for me. Just too much going on, I was busy enjoying Christmas!
If you are new here and wondering why I’m in week 21 of marathon training, see this post here. Long story short the Dallas Marathon was cancelled and I am training for a 2nd race.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend some quality time with your family and friends.
Training this week:
Sunday: Rest day
Monday: 8 mile run, 9:26 pace
Tuesday: Christmas Eve 5 miles, 9:31 pace
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday: 2 mile run, 8:41 pace, plus weights and abs at home
Friday: Active rest day, 20 minute swim
Saturday: 10 mile run, 9:40 pace
The next few weeks bring the longer weekend runs. I have been taking it a little easy to get through the holidays and will be back on track next week.
