Pinterest Pin-up Party {link-up}

Each Tuesday I try to share my favorite (or not-so-favorite) pins from the week before. I find I pin mostly recipes and running stuff (go figure!) Also, lately I’ve been pinning lots of things to try around the house, like painting and organizing.

I love, love, love crock pot recipes, but I don’t utilize it much except for chicken or roast. This recipe looks good, except I’d trade the corn for spinach. Maybe add some green onions.

I saw this gadget in Lowe’s the other day and need to invest in a few of them! I am constantly seeing places on the wall that need to be touched up. But, it’s so much trouble to get out the gallon of paint and brushes, etc.



I made this banana bread this week! I used whole wheat flour, apple sauce and honey. I added about 2 extra spoons of apple sauce and a few dashes of cinnamon to the recipe. I ended up with one loaf and 4 muffins. Approximately 16 servings, which according to my calculations means 133 calories, 2 grams fiber, less than 1 gram of fat, 2 grams of protein per serving. And it was still pretty darn good!
