Weekly recap!

WeeklyRecap1

We had a good week. Ally went to VBS then participated in a mission project on Friday. She’s (almost) all packed and ready to go visit her cousin. We are putting her on a plane tomorrow, she’ll be gone 12 days! She is so excited! I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do. I’m thinking my house might finally get cleaned!

It is starting to heat up here in Texas, the humidity is killing my pace. I’m just now starting to get back on track from my half May 27. I’ve been running 4 days a week but the Sunday night runs are starting to get to me. I’m too worn out to get up to swim on Monday morning. I think I’m going to cut that Sunday night run out until September and try swimming on Sunday as my recovery. Monday can be weights and abs at home, maybe a walk close to home.

This week:

Sunday: 4 miles, 10:26 pace

Monday: Track Workout

Tuesday: Gym workout

Wednesday: Swim and Track Workout

Thursday: 4.68 miles, 9:55 pace

Friday: REST DAY!

Saturday: 6.9 miles, 9:53 pace

A few pictures from the week:

I replaced my FitBug with a FitBit this week. I like it a lot better! It’s smaller, it’s brighter and gives me more info than the FitBug did.

This is me and Ally after 4 miles last Sunday night, it was 90 degrees when we finished.

Is anyone racing this weekend? Training for anything?
